No Water in Fier’s Beaches
None of the coastal zones of the district of Fier that are frequented by many people during the summer season have drinking water. Divjaka, in the district of Lushnja, Hidrovor and Seman in Fier have not seen any investment in 2006 as far as water piping goes. There is no pumping system either. Today in Divjaka, the situation with the water supply is scandalous. Wells have been dug everywhere but, unfortunately, they have not resulted in drinking water so they serve anything but human consumption. Many restaurant owners along the beach of Divjaka are desperate as drinking water promised by the government did not reach this crowded beach, again.One owner says for the newspaper that everyone has dug wells but they cannot be used for drinking water. In fact, this latter one is supplied by water tanks that often come to the beach. Another owner says that to fulfil the needs of tourists he pays for as many as three tanks.

Lezhë- A strong bomb blast in the car of one the criminal police agents trembled the neighbourhood “Gurra” in the district of Lezha, around 02.00 after midnight.
