Die wesentliche Frage wird sein, nachdem interveniert wurde, welche Regeln für Touristische Boote und Jet Ski aufgestellt werden!

Mehrere Motore, zu grosse Boote sind mit Sicherheit unerwünscht, was 2009 schon durch gesickert war. 2009 haben neu registrierte Sport Boote eine Erlaubnis in den Papieren von 2 sm erhalten, was ja auch ausreicht. Beliebt ist bei der Albaner Mafia, das man aufs Meer fährt und sich dort mit Dritt Yachten und Fischerei Fahrzeugen der Italienischen Mafia trifft so im Abstand von 15 sm von der Küste, wo der Radar kleine Boote schon verschluckt. Vor allem gibt es das Problem mit den vielen Mafia Clans, aus dem Kosovo und Mazedonien, welche denken, es gibt auch in Albanien kein Gesetz und welche zugleich bei der Einfuhr den Zoll korrumpieren.

Vor allem benötigt es ebenso eine funktionierende Küsten Polizei (Police Kufitare), welche sich bisher eher als Langzeit Restaurants Besucher sichtbar machte und ebenso einer Grund Diziplin der Albaner, welche oft ziemlich verrückt mit Vollgas am Ufer entlang durch Badende hindurch brausen und so gibt es jedes Jahr Etliche Tode.

Albania Extends Motorised Boats Ban, to Detriment of Tourism

In an effort to fight illegal trafficking, Albania’s parliament adopted another three-year ban on the use of motorised boats, which critics say hamper the country’s tourist industry.

Aimed at stopping people and drug traffickers to Italy and Greece, the moratorium – first put in place in 2005, affected around 2,000 Albanian speedboat owners.

According to albanian press, speedboats were commonly used in the 1990s to traffic migrants and drugs from Albania to Italy, but following closer cooperation between Albania and its neighbours, there has been a decline in their use.

Although tourist boats and jet skis are excluded from the ban, they still are still subject to a set of rules..

The moratorium’s critics find the moratorium unnecessary and say that it is damaging the country’s tourism industry and local fishermen.
